ChatAccording to our very rigid rotation, August Beer & Wings night will be in Fairmont.
Last night we were brain storming some locations for said gathering. While we pretty much agreed we all liked Hoops, we also agreed that we all really did not like to be boiled alive.
Any suggestions for a location?

How about another picnic at Valley Falls?
Maybe the last Saturday of the month? The 28th?

Well since no one else is making a decision...
Saturday for a picnic it is!
Date: Saturday August 28. (One week from this Sat.)
Time: 12 noon
Location: Valley Falls
Bottom of the hill is the parking area. And on the right is a small flight of wooden steps. And at the top of the steps are a couple picnic tables.
I am bringing a bucket of tasty KFC chicken with the trimmings.
And you are bringing....?

Instead of KFC I am bringing hot dogs and the trimmings for them.
I'm also bringing a couple of the Wal-Mart, $6 disposable grills if anyone else needs to cook anything.

Disposable grills? Never heard of such a thing.
Didn't know if I would be in town, but it seems as though my next trip has been pushed until next week. So I'll bring some chips.

Well, I hate to be the "odd man out" but I'm going to bring some beer and in case Valley Falls frowns on such things I'm really bringing soda with funny looking labels

Sorry, "... beer, wine, liquor, or other alcoholic beverages ..." are not permitted in Valley Falls State Park.
