December / January Beer & Wings

Postby Spotty Spotty Pony Girl on Mon Dec 07, 2009 4:46 pm

So since December is pretty much full up with schedule destroying sorts of things, I suggest we move December's Beer & Wing night into January (pretty much standard operating procedure over the last few years).

Last year, you may remember, we celebrated the second anniversary of the ever so hallowed event of MAGPI's official naming by having beer & wings on a Friday night at a local Morgantown establishment and then retiring to my place for additional beer and B.S. For a refresher you can review the thread if you like.

New Year's Day is somewhat getting in the way, so I suggest Friday, January 8 at a Morgantown establishment to be determined later (sidekick suggested Crockets where we actually had the first impromptu gathering of cachers - WBs, Aquacache, Roaming Gnome, sidekick, me and....anyone remember who else?)

Crockets sounds good to me.

Was 'hunter not there, too? Maybe not... I don't remember.

That's way too far back to be properly retrieved from my memory.

Yes, I was there, but I don't remember you imbibing that much. Or maybe I had too much and don't remember that!

That was an excellent way to kick off a tradition.

I imbibed 2 or 3 ... which is a lot for me. That has since only been equaled by the B&W downtown (Chic N Bones?) where I celebrated receiving my Form 1 tax stamps.

Carp!! Looks like I miss another. I will be working a 12 hr. shift that day/night so looks like no beer and wings for me. Hopefully, the next one I will be able to make. I seem to miss out on a lot of things while working. Maybe I will just quit my job and become a full-time cacher. If only. Happy New Year All!!
